Spiced Cauliflower Steaks
Substantial and delicious enough to be the main entree, Cauliflower steaks are an elegant presentation and plant-forward addition to any holiday menu.
Ingredients:
- 1 large head of cauliflower
- 2 teaspoons Mama Milly's Middle East 7 Spice Blend
- 2 teaspoons Mama Milly’s Adobo Spice Blend
- 3 tablespoons Mama Milly's Mojo Garlic Sauce
- 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Pomegranate arils and fresh mint leaves (for garnish)
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Remove the leaves and trim the stem of the cauliflower, leaving the core intact.
- Slice the cauliflower into 1-inch thick steaks, cutting from the center of the head outwards.
- In a small bowl, mix Adobo, Middle East 7 Spice Blend, Mojo Garlic Sauce, and balsamic vinegar.
- Brush both sides of each cauliflower steak with the spice blend mixture.
- Place the cauliflower steaks on the prepared baking sheet and roast for 25-30 minutes or until tender and golden.
- Garnish with pomegranate arils and fresh mint leaves before serving.
- Salt and pepper to taste
